The ingredients
  • - 70g ground almonds
  • - 35g caster sugar
  • - 30g melted butter
  • - 1 egg
  • - 8 fresh figs

1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

2. In a bowl, mix the ground almonds, the sugar, the butter, and the egg. Place this mixture in the round dish.

3. Cut the stalks off the fi gs and slice the top in a cross-shape. Place them on the almond cream.

4. Place in the oven for 30 minutes. 5. To be eaten lukewarm, accompanied with a spoonful of vanilla icecream.

Figs don’t keep well. Don’t hesitate to freeze them, then use them little by little as required.
